🚀 How the PDF to BMP Converter Works
- Select File: Choose your PDF document (
.pdf) from your device. - Convert & Preview: Click the black Convert & Preview button. The tool uses the PDF.js library to load and render the PDF pages locally in your browser.
- Canvas Rendering: Each page is rendered onto an invisible HTML
<canvas>element at high resolution (Scale 3). This ensures crisp quality when converting to BMP. - Preview Generation: Smaller canvases create PNG previews for on-screen display, keeping the tool lightweight and responsive.
- BMP Encoding: When you download, each high-res page is exported with a
.bmpextension, representing uncompressed pixel data similar to native BMP files. Everything happens locally—your file never leaves your device.
