Convert HEIC / HEIF photos to PNG images directly in your browser. Drag & drop or select files — no upload to server.
Upload HEIC files
How to Work
- Click Choose Files or drag HEIC/HEIF images into the drop area.
- Optionally set a maximum width in pixels to downscale the output PNGs.
- Toggle Preserve Transparency to keep alpha channels (if present).
- Click Convert Selected. Conversion runs in your browser using a client-side library.
- Preview each converted PNG and click Download to save it locally.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this upload my photos to a server?
No. Conversion uses client-side code (in your browser). Files are not uploaded unless you explicitly share them.
Which browsers support this?
Most modern browsers can run the converter. Some browsers (Safari on macOS/iOS) support HEIC natively and may not need conversion. If conversion fails, try Chrome/Edge/Firefox with the included library loaded.
Will PNG files keep transparency?
Yes — if the HEIC image contains an alpha channel and you keep Preserve Transparency checked, the output PNG will preserve transparency. If you want a flattened image, uncheck the box.
How many files can I convert at once?
You can select multiple files. Browser memory limits apply — for many or very large HEICs, convert in smaller batches.
What if the conversion fails?
If the library fails to convert, the page will attempt a native image decode (if supported). If both fail, try a different browser or use a server-side conversion tool.
