❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. How are the words combined?
+
The tool performs a **cartesian product** combination. Every single item from **List 1** is paired with every single item from **List 2**. If List 1 has $N$ items and List 2 has $M$ items, the total number of results will be $N \times M$.
2. How should I format my input lists?
+
The most reliable way is to ensure that **each word or phrase you want combined is on its own separate line**. The tool uses line breaks to distinguish between the items in your lists.
3. What is the "Separator" used for?
+
The separator is placed **between** the word from List 1 and the word from List 2 in the final output. For example, if List 1 is "Data", List 2 is "Flow", and the separator is "-", the result will be "**Data-Flow**". Leaving it empty results in "**DataFlow**".
4. Can I combine more than two lists?
+
This specific version of the tool is designed to combine exactly two lists (List 1 and List 2). To combine three lists (A, B, C), you would first combine A and B, then copy the output and use it as List 1 to combine with the items in List C.
5. Is there a limit to how many words I can input?
+
While there's no strict limit imposed by the tool itself, generating a very large number of combinations (e.g., 100 items in each list results in 10,000 combinations) may slow down your browser. We recommend keeping lists manageable for the best performance.
